Online reservations which are not purchased at the conclusion of the booking process will be automatically cancelled.
Please note that upon completing a reservation online, reservations can be cancelled and the ticket can be refunded without penalty if requested within a 24 hour time period.
A valid e-mail address and valid credit card are required. Applicable cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, or Discover. If you would like to pay using a JAL branded credit card issued in Japan, please choose co-branded cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Diners Club.
The credit card holder must be a traveler in the itinerary being purchased.
Travel for unaccompanied minors cannot be booked through www.ar.jal.com.
Seats are not provided for INFANT fares. If a seat is required, a child fare will need to be purchased. Please contact JAL Reservation Center for reservations.
Online ticket purchases can be made up to 48 hours before departure.
All transactions will be made in U.S. dollars.
For credit cards issued outside the U.S, please be aware that foreign transaction fees may be applied by your credit card company on new reservations, as well as on refund/cancellation requests. Please note that the exchange rate will be based on when the transaction is posted and may not be on the day of the purchase.
For purchases made by a JAL CARD issued in Japan, the U.S. Dollar amount will be exchanged to Japanese Yen based on JAL's predefined exchange rate.
Cancellations will be subject to a refund service charge or a cancellation penalty in accordance with the fare rules, whichever is higher.
Refunding a ticket that contains more than two fare bases requires refund service charges or cancellation penalties for each fare basis.
To comply with U.S. transportation rules, for itineraries between U.S. and U.S. (including Hawaii and Guam) via Japan (*), at least one international flight is required to be operated by a U.S. carrier.
