JAL International Passenger Fare Fuel Surcharge

The JAL Group introduced fuel surcharges in February 2005 in response to rises in the cost of fuel. Fuel surcharge will be reviewed and revised quarterly. (Please click here for further details of the revision.)
We will not apply fuel surcharge for flights of JAL group on tickets issued between July 1st and September 30th.


We highly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.


Please refer to the fuel surcharge amounts shown below.

The surcharge applies to flights operated by Japan Airlines and its international subsidiary JALways, including JAL code-share flights operated by other airlines.
