Hotel Mileage

Eliigible Rate

Mileage will be credited only when hotel room charges are paid directly to the hotel.
* Group rates are not eligible for mileage credit. Also, discounted rates may not be eligible at certain hotels. Note that eligible rates for mileage credit are determined by each hotel and not by the JAL Mileage Bank. For details, please check with the individual hotel.

How to Accumulate Hotel Mileage

1.At the time of hotel check-in
Please present your JMB card or JALCARD and mention that you wish to receive mileage credit on your JMB account.
When checking into the the following hotels, please show:
  • ・Starwood Preferred Guest account number or membership card when you stay with Starwood Hotels & Resorts;
  • ・Priority Club Rewards membership card when you stay with InterContinetal Hotels Group;
  • ・Marriott Rewards membership number or membership card when you stay with Marriott International.
2.At the time of hotel check-out
Please make sure you receive a hotel receipt made out in your name.
3.Mileage accumulated from hotel stays will be reflected in your account within 2-3 months.
Until your mileage has been credited to your account, please retain hotel receipts issued in your name.
  • * Even if you mentioned your JMB membership number at the time of reservations, you must advise the hotel when you check-in that you wish to accumulate mileage credit. Failure to do so will result in uncredited mileage.
  • * A stay at the same hotel for more than 1 night is considered as "1 stay." If you check out and check in again at the same hotel within a 24 - hour period, it will be considered as one stay.
  • * If 2 or more JMB members share a room, only the member whose name appears on the hotel receipt will receive mileage credit.
  • * Reserving multiple rooms in the same member's name will result in the crediting of mileage for 1 stay.


How to REQUEST POST-STAY HOTEL CREDIT

If you did not request mileage credit at the time of check-in, or you forgot to present your JMB card or JALCARD, or if you find a discrepancy in your Mileage records, you may request post-stay hotel credit by sending necessary documents to the JMB Center of your membership registration.

(1) Your hotel receipt (receipt must be in your name, check-in and check-out date, and rate per night)

  • * No mileage credit will be given for any hotel stay prior to enrollment. In addition, post-stay hotel credit requests over 6 months after the date of the hotel stay will not be accepted.
  • * As sent documents cannot be returned to you, you are advised to retain copies of necessary documents.
